Genesis10 is seeking a Lead Developer for a contract with our client in Minnetonka, MN. 100% Remote. Job Description: Acts as technical leader on project/work teams by directing and/or checking the work of other team members. Executes complex development tasks and provides technical direction, assistance and mentorship to other team members. Responsible for development, delivery and operation of assigned applications. Key Responsibilities: Instruct, direct and check the work of others. Formulate and define system scope and objectives. Devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering capacity, limitations, time and form of desired results. Prepare detailed specifications, ensure thorough documentation and model those behaviors to team members. Lead, design, code, test and debug complex development efforts; document, enforce and model best standards and practices to others. Oversee and participate in quality assurance reviews. Oversee project completions and ensure user satisfaction. Other duties as assigned or required. Required Basic Qualifications: Typically has a minimum 8 years of relevant experience. .Net Core or .Net 6+ Angular NPM Package Publishing* ADO Visual Studio Skills: Ability to build reusable components to be shared by publishing a private NPM package. Ability to lead a small team of developers in building and consuming front end application logic. * NPM Package Publishing is the biggest difference as we do not have experience with it. EXPERTISE: Has full technical knowledge of all phases of application systems analysis and programming. Has broad awareness of the business or function for which applications are designed. TECHNICAL SKILLS: Strong web application and service development experience, preferably focusing on Microsoft technologies and Typescript or Javascript Demonstrated ability to design technical solutions and communicate design to a project/work team Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities in web technologies and multi-tier or distributed architectures Strong experience with source control (GIT, ADO), change control, code review, code quality and security scan tools Experience designing and developing with Javascript frameworks (Angular) and the NPM ecosystem strongly preferred KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Educational Requirements: Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields; or equivalent work experience. Communication and Interpersonal skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. At a minimum, the ability to work from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Consistent attendance is required, which may include attendance at after-hour Company events. Ability to accept supervision. Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone, video conferences and in person. Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company. Ability to work overtime as requested and approved by supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Compensation: Hourly W2 pay rate $75.00-$80.00 We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
