Position Summary Coordinates and provides family-centered nursing care to infants, children and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. THIS IS AN MNA CONTRACT POSITION. Education Requirements: * Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. * Current Minnesota RN licensure. * Current BLS certification. * Based upon the unit in which you are applying, additional certification(s) may be required. Department specific required qualifications need to be obtained within 6 months of employment. * Current Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification required or obtained during orientation. An informational meeting with the Patient Care Manager is required prior to awarding the position. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of an occupational health assessment, drug screen, background investigation, and compliance with the U.S. Government Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification.
