Sr. Marketing Specialist

ABOUT YOU:

We're seeking a Sr. Marketing Specialist to support our product category leader in administering and executing key projects that align with our marketing strategies and tactical plans. YOU HAVE:

  • Passion. Willingness to learn, demonstrate creativity, and excel in a changing environment.

  • Technical Skills. Understanding of Salesforce, email automation platforms and email marketing.

  • Excellent Analytical Skills. Good decision-making ability and organization skills; ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks effectively.

  • Great Communication Skills. Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail. Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

  • Experience. Up to 3 years of professional marketing experience with a thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and market research methods. Experience in collateral development and marketing communication.

  • Education. BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Preferred. BA/BS in Business or Marketing, graphic design knowledge, experience using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, and Marketing Cloud knowledge.

    YOU WILL:

  • Support Go-to-Market Process. Coordinate and execute product and process activities for the assigned business unit, ensuring alignment with marketing and business objectives.

  • Coordinate Project/Product Activities. Act as the voice of the customer during pre, during and post development; seek and identify market needs and requirements. Balance market needs with Jostens enterprise business strategies.

  • Collaborate. Work with cross functional teams on approach, strategies, content development, revenue/CIP plans for product/project. Collaborate with all stakeholders including end users, sales, marketing, operations, service, etc. to execute and implement product/project plans.

  • Improve. Make recommendations and act on the analysis and solutions of problems.

  • Develop, Implement, and Manage Marketing Projects. Oversee multiple initiatives such as email, social media, or digital and print campaigns, in parallel, in context of overall marketing project portfolio. Manage channel integration, partner with analytics counterparts to analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns using Salesforce Reports. Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities to support the in-school channel and customer service touchpoints.

    Our Marketing team leverages digital marketing strategies and tactics focused on schools, independent sales reps, parents, and students to deliver the right message, to the right customer, at the right time. Team members will understand and leverage customer insights through data analysis & testing to then create experiences and relevant content throughout the customer journey and to support our specialized products lines including Yearbooks, Class Rings, Graduation Products, and Professional Sports.
