Job Description

Our Human Resources team is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Talent Consultant (HR Business Partner) to partner with the U.S. Bank Chief Finance Officer, Finance senior leadership team and HR centers of excellence in designing, implementing and actively managing the U.S. Bank enterprise and divisional human capital strategies that enables our business through talent.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partners alongside leadership teams the design, development and execution of people initiatives, strategies, and company culture.

  • Leads and influences using appropriate workforce data and predictive analytics for decision making that supports financial metrics, objectives, and business growth across departments and businesses.

  • Aligns multi-dimensional change management efforts and presents strategies and initiatives in a way that provides clarity around integration and business relevance.

  • Ensures firm-wide programs enhance the company’s ability to attract, retain and motivate an increasingly diverse workforce.

  • Champions our culture of continuous improvement, ensuring the appropriate talent structure, engagement model, organizational design health, performance management and recognition systems are applied to support strategic objectives.

  • Recognizes and drives a simple and pragmatic approach in everything we do.

  • Exhibits a highly disciplined approach to developing and executing initiatives that reflect the broader business objectives; able to incorporate key inputs from multiple stakeholder groups. Closely manages initiatives for impact.

  • Able to “deep dive” into the details and the business while staying focused on the big picture and be able to “connect the dots”. Skilled at sizing and prioritizing people investment opportunities/ initiatives based on estimated impact, ease of implementation and potential risk.

  • Able to quickly integrate complex information and different points of view in problem solving exercises. Effectively probes for information critical to the decision at hand.

  • Is adept in data driven storytelling.

SKILLS AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor or graduate degree in business, human resources, or related field, or equivalent work experience in Human Resources (HR), business, or managerial experience.

  • Business or Human Resources professional with progressive experience working at both a strategic and executional level, partnering with executive level leaders.

  • Robust market orientation with knowledge of emerging multi-industry themes (i.e. Digital, technology, regulatory, social economics) coupled with the current and future people implications on our bank.

  • Strong track record of delivery of complex multi-discipline change programs, including transformational initiatives.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong and decisive results-oriented leadership, ability to influence with confidence in interactions, and has analytical, business and financial acumen.

  • Ability to think strategically company-wide, analyze, and proactively respond to ever changing business needs and objectives.

  • Strong understanding of organizational development, with the ability to lead and influence change from the executives to entry level employees.

  • Proven ability to execute large scale programs and projects from discovery, design and governance through to delivery.

  • Result orientation, demonstrating an entrepreneurial approach to recognizing needs, solving problems, anticipating issues, and developing employee centric solutions.

  • Ability to comfortably present to executives with confidence and authority.

  • Excellent business judgment and strategic thinking.

  • Ability to develop strong relationships centered on a foundation of trust and confidence.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $170,255.00 - $200,300.00 - $220,330.00
