Ameriprise Financial Senior Manager - Power Platform (R24_0000003006) in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Provide technical expertise and leadership to a large team (or multiple teams) dedicated to hardware/software/network technologies design and build activities (comprised of internal and vendor/contractor resources). Ensure activities are completed, validated, align with architectural objectives and requirements, and successfully to deploy into the production environment. Provide mentorship to team (including direct reports) ensuring optimization of designs/solutions. Champion standard processes and procedures. Provide troubleshooting for development and test environment issues. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Manager to lead the governance, oversight, value articulation, and expense management of our Microsoft Power Platform initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring the effective and efficient use of the Power Platform to drive business value, maintain compliance, and manage costs within our organization. Key Responsibilities Governance and Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain governance frameworks and policies for the Microsoft Power Platform. Ensure compliance with internal policies working with key partners across Information Security, Compliance, privacy, and Technology teams. Monitor and report on platform usage, performance, and adherence to standards. Value Articulation: Identify and communicate the business value and benefits of Power Platform solutions, that the user community has created. Collaborate with business units to understand their needs and demonstrate how Power Platform can address them. Develop and present business cases for new Power Platform initiatives. Expense Management: Partner with Finance to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for Power Platform. Monitor and control expenses to ensure cost-effective use of licenses and resources. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and external vendors. Facilitate collaboration and communication between stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of professionals responsible for Power Platform governance and management. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent relevant work experience. 7-10 years of relevant experienced required. 7 years of experience in IT operations, governance, or a related role, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform, SharePoint or other Microsoft Technologies. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, ability to negotiate or persuade others in complex situations. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical audiences and vice versa. Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Experience working in a multi-vendor environment.
