We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Member Services Representative in the health insurance industry. Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the role will entail providing member services, booking transportation, assisting with benefits, and handling calls about bills and prescriptions in a call center setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional member service to customers, ensuring their needs are met

• Handle the booking of transportation for members as required

• Assist members with understanding and utilizing their benefits

• Triage incoming calls from members about bills and prescriptions, providing accurate and timely information

• Utilize computer systems to track and record member interactions

• Work collaboratively within a team to ensure smooth operations within the call center

• Maintain a high level of knowledge about the healthcare industry to provide informed assistance

• Handle confidential member information with discretion and in compliance with privacy laws

• Escalate complex member issues to the appropriate party when needed

• Continuously strive to improve customer service skills and industry knowledge

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Call Center environment is necessary

• Proficiency in computer skills including MS Office Suite and customer relationship management software

• Excellent customer service skills with a patient and empathetic attitude

• Deep understanding of the healthcare industry and its regulations

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle customer complaints professionally
