Thrivent Financial Marketing Coordinator - Paid Media in Minneapolis, Minnesota
The Paid Media Coordinator is responsible for executing and optimizing digital advertising campaigns across various platforms to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. This role involves social media advertising, display, digital video, and other digital ad placements, ensuring campaigns align with business goals and performance KPIs.
Key responsibilities include setting up and monitoring campaigns, analyzing performance metrics, optimizing budget allocation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance overall marketing effectiveness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve ad performance. Strong analytical skills, platform expertise (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.), and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously are essential for success in this role.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan and execute paid media campaigns with a primary focus on paid social campaigns (Meta), ensuring effective audience targeting, budget allocation, and performance optimization.
Assist the paid media team in managing monthly billing across agency and vendor partners, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
Collaborate with internal analytics and measurement teams to analyze campaign and creative performance, delivering actionable insights for optimization.
Work closely with media agencies to establish and maintain campaign operations, including campaign pacing and budgeting, campaign tracking across paid media channels, and developing campaign reporting templates.
Monitor competitive activity and collaborate with the media agency to maintain competitive tracking, identifying key industry trends and insights.
Establish and strengthen relationships with third-party vendors and agency partners to ensure strategic alignment and successful execution of marketing initiatives.
Work with Technology and Analytics teams to strategically place and document tracking pixels for campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
0 - 3 years marketing or related experience (experience in digital marketing or paid media campaign management preferred) .
Experience with paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, etc.) and familiarity with campaign setup, optimization, and performance tracking.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in campaign reporting tools and platforms.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with media planning and analytics tools is a plus.
Preferred:
1-3 years of experience in advertising/media agency strongly preferred
Business acumen and the ability to work across the enterprise.
Experience in a specialized area of marketing (direct marketing, e-marketing, communications, analytics, brand positioning, social networking media, etc.) and/or project/program management.
Knowledge of financial services industry, fraternal benefit societies, or membership organizations a plus, but not required.

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $23.59 - $31.92 per hour, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
