Robert Half Loan Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the finance industry, specifically in loan servicing and administration, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. This role focuses on the daily management and processing of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. Additionally, this position involves monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records to ensure up-to-date information

• Monitor construction draw schedules and ensure the linked project is still in balance

• Proactively manage construction draws and contribute to asset management

• Undertake proactive measures such as sending reminders for upcoming payments

• Perform accounts payable/receivable functions including billing and invoicing

• Track and manage invoicing, identifying payments yet to be received

• Communicate with county authorities or third parties for accurate information

• Understand and apply escrow procedures

• Maintain project insurance and coordinate with different parties involved in the project

• Ensure only eligible items (for instance HVAC) are funded

• Work with the developers and sometimes independently, without involvement of other financial institutions. Requirements • Proficiency in data processing and handling large datasets

• Familiarity with closing processes related to loans and financial transactions

• Knowledge of compliance requirements in the financial sector

• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to resolve queries and issues promptly

• Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial modeling

• Experience in billing processes and systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• High attention to detail, particularly in reviewing financial documents and contracts

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

• Capacity to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulatory requirements.
