Robert Half is partnering with a premier institutional asset management firm to find a dynamic and diligent Analyst. This is a direct hire role based in the Twin Cities that offers not just a job, but a thriving career, supporting all global offices of our client.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting with performance reporting, project coordination, and deal closing.

• Participating in day-to-day operational activities such as reconciliation of portfolio investment data, and trade execution.

• Contributing to due diligence requests, executing fund capital drawdown and distribution process, and assisting some regulatory reporting.

• Utilizing strong analytical skills to drive decision-making and optimize efficiency and control.

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• Two years' experience in financial services or ideally, public accounting.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial statements.

• Ability to produce timely accurate records and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA, CFA, or graduate degree.

• Experience with Excel VBA

Requirements

• Candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience ideally coming directly from public accounting.

• Proficient in Public Accounting Audit and Public Accounting Tax.

• Strong Analytical Skills are essential for understanding and interpreting complex financial data.

• Must be skilled in Financial Reporting, including the preparation, analysis, and presentation of reports.

• Knowledge of Capital Markets and understanding of financial instruments such as stocks, bonds, and derivatives is preferred

• Familiarity with Alternative Investments such as real estate, commodities, and hedge funds is desirable.

• Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field is required.

• Proficiency in financial software tools and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is a must.

• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
