Job Description Provide administrative and operational support to internal and external stakeholders in all areas of the Human Resources department. Primary Responsibilities Coordinate and support the operational and administrative aspects of the employment life-cycle, ranging from posting jobs and recruitment support, to onboarding and status changes up, through termination of employment. Manage all onboarding responsibilities for new faculty and staff; provide additional recruitment and onboarding support for student employees during peak hiring times or as needed. Coordinate and assist facilitating bi-weekly new employee and benefits orientations sessions. In collaboration with the HR team, serve as the first point of contact for general questions and concerns. Triage more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member. Perform simple and complex data entry and reporting in HRIS and other HR databases. Manage confidential filing and archiving systems to ensure legal and policy compliance. Additional Responsibilities Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed on a variety of tasks, projects and initiatives. May be assigned as recruiter for entry-level and service positions. Order office supplies and basic troubleshooting/maintenance of HR office equipment. Maintain Human Resources website, job boards and social media accounts. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. Two (2) years of relevant administrative experience required, including at least one year of administrative experience working in Human Resources. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with recruitment processes, such as candidate screening and participating in the interview process. Previous experience coordinating benefits and payroll functions. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently with little supervision. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Commitment to providing superior customer service. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with multiple competing priorities. Ability to handle frequent interruptions.
