Actalent Hardware Design Engineer in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Job Title: Hardware Design EngineerJob Description

Join our dynamic team as a Hardware Design Engineer, where you'll be responsible for leading hardware design activities and deliverables within our Digital Systems Engineering programs. You will focus on electrical system elements such as wiring harnesses, printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs), and regulatory testing (UL, IEC, EMC, ESD, EFT). You will maintain and support existing products through various Life Cycle Management activities and execute key engineering and quality projects using Six Sigma and 8D tools. Collaborate with Operations & Service teams to address product quality issues and create validated solutions. Your role will involve planning and supporting verification and validation testing, leveraging data to manage design trade-offs, and communicating technical risks and schedules to engineering leaders. Additionally, you will apply industry and regulatory standards to your designs, lead and mentor junior engineers, and develop standard work practices for our engineering department.

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 9 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Minneapolis, Minnesota and some days remote.
