Finance Business Partner supporting Medtronic’s Corporate Finance Organization. The team is working hybrid and will be onsite 3 days/week in Fridley, MN.
A Day in the Life
We offer you a position where you will be partnering with Cost Center Managers and Finance team members, with exposure to the Corporate Finance Leadership team.
As a member of the Finance team, you will be the primary finance partner with cost center managers and finance leaders within the Finance organization. Role will support all aspects of financial management, including expense analysis, month-end/quarter-end close, reporting & presenting results, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), capital expenditure requests, and forecasting. This role includes creating, maintaining and updating reports, troubleshooting/resolving reports and system issues. Answering finance process, reporting and or system related questions. Financial support to cost center managers, including planning & forecasting project expenses/capital, business case financial modeling, attending extended team meetings as the finance representative.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2+ years of work experience in Finance and/or Accounting (Or Advanced Degree with 0+ years)
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or MBA, CPA or CMA
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, including advanced functions like pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, NPV/IRR
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting experience
Financial modeling experience
Ability to operate in a matrixed environment and interact across levels and organizations
Strong analytical and communication skills
Technology skills including SAP, Boxi, Hyperion Essbase

The provided base salary range is used nationally (except in certain CA locations). The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, market conditions, location, etc.
