Job Title: Distribution Lead

Job Description

The Distribution Lead will direct and coordinate daily shipping, receiving, and production activities. This role involves planning, organizing, and carrying out objectives related to the warehouse/shipping department. You will work closely with management to prioritize tasks and allocate individuals to specific warehouse duties. Proficiency in inventory systems is expected, as well as the ability to assign specific dock paperwork to the team. Overseeing a team of 11, the lead will manage changes, stock equipment, assign housekeeping duties, and assist the team during the shift. Responsibilities also include making lot changes, ensuring the palletizer is loaded, loading materials into the shrink wrap machine, assisting with cycle counting, helping load trailers, and maintaining cleanliness.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Work Environment

Very clean, organized work environment with large industrial fans to keep cool. The company fosters a great culture. The position is for the 2nd shift from 2:30pm-11pm, Monday-Friday, with initial training on the 1st shift for 2 weeks from 6am-2:30pm. The pay ranges from $22-25/hr, with a $1.00 shift differential, based on experience.
