Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a data privacy engineer to join one of our midsize education clients. This individual will be a part of a new privacy team that focuses on PI and backend data. This engineer will ensure all work is completed within compliance to privacy laws, support business data use, and integrates privacy features into data products. They will design and code software solutions to protect and anonymize data while collaborating with the Marketing, Legal, and Data teams to create and improve the privacy suite. On a daily basis, this person will be analyzing and optimizing the performance and usability of the privacy solutions at this organization.

Skills and Requirements

-2+ years of experience in data privacy or data protection.

-Exposure to BigID platforms/solutions-BigID Certified Professional

-Experience with OneTrust-OneTrust Certified Professional

-CIPP/CIPT certification (member of IAAP)

-Excellent communication skills

-Ability to learn quickly, collaborate with multiple teams, and own multiple tasks -Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information systems, privacy engineering, or a relative field of study.

-Experience with Regular Expressions (RegEx). null
