Job Description OVERVIEW: As an Associate Finance Manager (AFM) in the Corporate Controller's group, you will own Corporate and North America intercompany accounting governance, processes, and controls as well as support the technical accounting for initiatives to enable an optimal internal structure to support profitable growth and top-tier shareholder returns. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to broader Corporate Controller's group initiatives including quarterly SEC filings. This role offers many unique developmental and leadership opportunities, including: Involvement in significant enterprise initiatives in support of our Accelerate strategy to drive shareholder value Collaborate and partner with multiple corporate functions and stakeholders across the organization to align strategies and provide expertise on the end-to-end business process for intercompany accounting, controls, applicable policies, systems, and reporting Frequent exposure to senior leaders within Tax, Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Global Accounting Operations, among others Deepening accounting, control, and financial reporting technical expertise from both recurring and nonrecurring activities Leading process improvement in support of our continuous optimization of our global operating model to achieve best-in-class processes and results Enablers for success in this role include the ability to work proactively, have a high attention to detail, ability to partner with multiple internal and external business partners, high technical accounting acumen, communication skills, and a commitment to process and process improvement. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Serve as a workstream lead and technical accounting expert for Corporate & North America intercompany processes. Oversee and provide guidance on intercompany strategy and policies for the Global Accounting Organization teams and cross-functional business partners. Monitor and review results completed by outsourced partners and centers of excellence to ensure processes accurately meet Global Accounting Organization needs and requirements. Support the Tax business partners by providing technical accounting expertise and leadership on strategic projects to optimize structure and enhance shareholder value. Own the accounting for holding companies and oversee the preparation of statutory financial accounts. Leverage the Workstream Community of Practice to maintain shared consciousness, consistently apply guidance and ensure standard treatment of issues and changes in accounting and controls. Partner with various Corporate Functions to assess impacts of changing business activities to accounting process, reporting process and controls, and contribute to adequate solutions to meet business needs. Drive process and governance excellence in our dynamic global accounting & controls environment. Utilize SAP, HFM, Blackline and other technologies to appropriately and effectively complete job responsibilities. Contribute to Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting quarterly reporting processes, including involvement in the quarterly SEC filing and earnings release process Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: B.S. in Accounting CPA 5+ years relevant experience (corporate accounting, audit, or similar function) Detailed-oriented, results-oriented, proactive Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize changing workload Process and process improvement driven mindset Ability to work with and influence different stakeholders Working knowledge of SAP Ability to work independently PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's in Accounting Relevant experience that includes technical intercompany accounting Excellent written and verbal communication skills ADDITIONAL ONSIDERATIONS: We are open to 100% remote candidates with travel based on business needs. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $90100.00 - $135300.00 / Annually.
