Social Work Counselor

The Social Work Counselor works with foster care children referred by the Department of Social Services to develop independent living skills
This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate!
Responsibilities
Develop and facilitate independent living skills workshops.
Provide contacts and supports for foster families to facilitate implementation of independent living skills in the home.
Coordinate service efforts with DSS caseworkers.
Conduct monthly home visits to youth in their foster homes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social work, education or related field required.
One-year full-time experience working with adolescents.
Valid and clean driver's license
Basic computer knowledge of MS Office.
Additional Information
Schedule:
Full-time, 35 hours per week.
Schedule: Monday 12-8 pm, , Tuesday through Friday 9am-5pm.
