JOB REQUIREMENTS: PC Technicians/Computer Technicians Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software Hardware: Setting up hardware, testing and evaluating computer equipment, and performing repairs on computers and other peripherals Software: Installing software, configuring software and drivers, and analyzing a computer\'s software to identify and resolve functionality issues Networking: Installing and managing LAN/WAN and other networks, and troubleshooting network problems Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support. Oversee the daily performance of computer systems. Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
