Job Title: Coil Winder
Job Description
A Coil Winder is responsible for operating machines that wind coils of wire, fiber, cloth, or other materials onto spools, drums, or other devices.
Responsibilities
Setting up machines: Preparing winding machines for operation by calibrating and adjusting them for specific projects.
Loading materials: Selecting and threading materials such as wire or cable onto the spindle.
Operating machines: Using winding machines to wind coils, ensuring even and uniform winding.
Quality control: Monitoring the winding process to ensure quality and inspecting finished coils.
Maintenance: Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on winding machines.
Reading diagrams: Understanding and following engineering drawings and specifications related to the coils being constructed.

Work Environment
1st shift, with hours from 6:30am - 3:30pm or 7:30am - 4:30pm. Fridays are half days, from 6am - 10am.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
