JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Overview: The assistant coach position aids the head coach with activities including practice, matches, and recruitment. This position is integral to the development of each individual student-athlete both mentally and physically. This position provides opportunities to teach and mentor team members to drive them to perform at their highest abilities. This position is also critical in creating a sense of camaraderie and a presence in the community. Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Recruiting Manager: Manage day-to-day correspondence with recruits. Recruit on the road. Coordinate logistics for all on-campus visits. 2. Player development: Work with players who do not travel with the squad for away competitions. Traveling with non-starters to individual events (auction items, participants, etc.). 3. Fundraising: Raise additional funds for program that will help support success. Coordinate all aspects of annual fundraiser (auction items, participants, etc.), Give Marquette Day, Alumni Events. 4. Administrative Duties: Social media account management. Travel logistics assist with planning. Equipment assist with orders and inventory. Practice Logs help maintain completion and submission to Compliance as required by the NCAA. 5. Performs all other duties and responsibilities as assigned or directed by the supervisor. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: A minimum of two years of golf athletic-related experience.
