In the Architectural Designer I position, you\'ll collaborate with our team of Architects, Interior Designers and Foodservice Designers in all stages of building design to create life-enhancing environments that are visually appealing and promote the health, safety and wellbeing of residents and staff. Your primary focus will be the production of construction documentation from Schematic Design through Construction Administration, including the creation of elevations, sections and three-dimensional visualization as necessary to support the project design objectives This position works within our Aptura business. Able to learn quickly and flex across a diverse range of tasks. Proven ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately in both Revit and AutoCAD, following office standards and industry best practices. Demonstrated understanding and interest in design technology, materials, and processes. Demonstrated ability to read and understand architectural documentation. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment, handling multiple concurrent projects of varying sizes and complexities. Possess a basic understanding of building codes/regulations and construction. Excellent multi-tasking ability, highly organized with great attention to detail. Advanced verbal and written communication skills. What You\'ll Do and Impact: Collaborate with project designers and other team members with project work: Assist on the evaluation of spatial conditions, constraints, and opportunities for their design objectives. Create hand sketches, scaled drawings, and/or schematic digital models for client presentations. Work from markups, schedules, concept imagery and loose verbal instructions from designers. Research products and materials to ensure proper installation and performance. Complete technical drawing set ups for production of schematic, design development and construction document sets, including management of views, graphics, and sheet layouts. Draw, update, revise, and annotate flooring, reflected ceiling, equipment, furniture, and finish plans under the direction of the Project Designer(s).
