Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy. The Manufacturing Technician I will work closely with the manufacturing engineering team and will be primarily responsible for manufacturing instruments on an assembly line. The Manufacturing Technician II is responsible for: following documented procedures, such as Manufacturing Work Instructions; performing inspections and functional tests to verify quality conformance; and following all safety protocols to perform all tasks in a safe environment. This hands-on position will require good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, and the ability to understand complex manufacturing instructions and engineering drawings. Responsibilities Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Manufacturing Work Instructions. Follow documentation procedures such as filling out Data History Records (DHRs), Reading and understanding instructions from Planned Deviation Report (PDR) or Non-Conformance Reports (NCR). Contribute on the refinement of procedures and protocols and escalate any issues as necessary. Execute validation runs on new equipment and process, as well as experiments related to process development Comply with company safety procedures. Clean and maintain equipment and work area as needed Perform incoming and in-process inspection of components and assemblies to verify quality conformance. Recognize any minor issues from the equipment and any affiliated documentation and take appropriate corrective action within scope. Inform Supervisor/Manufacturing Engineer of problems or issues Assist Supervisor/Manufacturing Engineering in maintaining and reporting on Daily Management and Build Schedule progress Qualifications * Relevant associate degree or high school degree equivalent * 0-2 Years of Experience as a Manufacturing Technician * Good hand-eye coordination * Must be able to lift 25 lbs. Work may involve repetitive arm/wrist motions. * Ability to work directly with, handle or come into contact with chemicals or reagents. * Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, manufacturing engineers * Able to understand instructions and batch records written and spoken in English. * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Ability to pay close attention to detail. * Ability to read engineering drawings At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $31,000.00/yr. and $46,000.00/yr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
