Outside Sales Representative

Hourly pay + commission
Prime Industrial Fasteners is in search of a highly motivated, service-orientated outside sales representative to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will serve existing outside customers, recruit new customers, and support warehouse operations. Additionally, candidate will analyze customer needs with the goal of formulating action plans that focus on increasing total revenue for the company.
Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):
- Acquire new customers and maintain new and existing customers.
- Support inside sales and warehouse whenever needed, to promote efficient order flow.
- Advise and assist customers with inventory analysis, product section, the ordering process, information about new products and services, and other needs.
- Provide literature, price lists, product specifications, sales flyers, and other information regarding products we carry.
- Put away product in assigned bins, where applicable.
- Investigate customer complaints and escalate them to appropriate manager when necessary.
- Assist inside warehouse with counter duties, processing returns, and loading delivery vehicles.
- Any other tasks or duties assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- One (1) year fastener or two (2) years industrial sales, or other related experience.
- Existing fastener knowledge or the ability and willingness to learn the industry products.
- Customer service experience.
- Detail orientated, organized, time-management skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Willing to travel within territory.
