DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Schneider Electric has an opportunity this Summer 2025 for a Manufacturing Engineering Intern in our Middletown, PA , location. This intern will have the opportunity to gain exposure to real-life initiatives, projects and resume boosting experience within a Fortune 500 company.

What will you do? * Research, design, and implement manufacturing equipment (fixtures, tools, machines) * Product/component simplification and standardization which included analysis of existing components, research on alternatives and design of new component layouts * Investigate, evaluate, document, and optimize existing manufacturing processes * Specializes in several areas of knowledge regarding production / manufacturing processes: process design, ergonomics, capacity, simulation tools, investment, and cost analysis * Strongly contributes to / leads continuous improvement actions
This job might be for you if: * Are actively pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering * Possess leadership qualities and the ability to facilitate conflicts. * Are self-motivated and self-directed with a sense of urgency. * Have a solid work ethic - honors responsibility and commitment. * Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. * Possess excellent communication and team collaboration skills (English language) * Possess proven ability to achieve results * Have exceptional leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, project management, and communication skills. * Have the ability to set overall priorities and form action plans to implement and monitor for results * Experience in Excel, Macros, SQL, and Tableau
