SUMMARY OF THE JOB :

The Integration Architect Sr will play a vital role in the design, testing and deployment of Integration solutions, including API gateway. The incumbent will specialize in the interface configuration, monitoring and customization of several information exchange. This position will work in conjunction with other members of the technical team on configuring and mapping of information data feeds to and from provider organizations, federal agencies, financial institute, banking core system, and other potential systems to build state-of-the-art integration solutions.

This position will report to the VP – Enterprise Architect.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide technology integration assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.

  • Lead projects within Integration. Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect, design, develop, test, and release integration solutions.

  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new technology and solutions.

  • Own development of a few Integration using Lean methodology.

  • Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.

  • Provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building integration solutions.

  • Drive common standards, practices and capabilities across teams.

  • Demonstrates good leadership skills and acts as a role model to others within the department.

  • Responsible for in-depth troubleshooting; determining the appropriate course of action to resolve incidents with minimal business disruption and determining the root cause of the problems with integration application / platform.

  • Participates in technical training programs and self-directed learning to help in the support of the business units with integration needs.

  • Able to manage data analysis and data integration of disparate systems.

  • Able to implement processes and logic to extract, transform, and distribute data across one or more data stores from a wide variety of sources.

  • Able to work within time and budget constraints at times meeting demanding delivery dates

  • Familiarity with Integration tools like Mulesoft, Akana, Boomi or SoftwareAG preferred.

  • Able to create, design and develop data models.

  • Able to contribute the technical metadata to the metadata repository.

  • Working knowledge of ERD diagram preferred.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Language, reasoning, and analytical skills normally acquired through completion of Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent professional work experience

  • Good understanding/exposure to overall API-Management concepts & fundamentals. Experience in defining overall API architecture, API implementations, integration and deployment

  • Five years’ banking experience, 3 years integration experience, 1 years as technical lead for API Management integration projects

  • Deep understanding of RESTful architecture principles and their applicability

  • Understanding of all the stages of API and Experience with one or more programming languages for API development Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies tool and training

  • Experience in developing RAML based RESTful API’s and WSDL based SOAP web services

  • Extensive experience using various connectors including HTTP, AWS, DB, VM and File/FTP

  • Knowledge of security protocols including Basic, WS-security, SAML and OAuth2

  • Experience in XML technologies like XML, XSLT, XML Schema (XSD)

  • Experience with JEE Application Servers and Containers (administration, deployment, and/or development in Tomcat, JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, etc.)

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills

  • Ability to function independently with minimal oversight, direction and as part of a team

  • Strong sense of project ownership

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Three years’ experience as data analyst desired

  • Two years’ experience using Tableau desired

  • Ability to multitask

    ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    Integration

      1.

    Works with business units to analyze needs and designs appropriate integration specifications; provides advice and technical assistance to facilitate integration solutions and resolution. Works with business units to ensure integrations results are accurate and meet the business units’ needs.

    Documentation

      2.

    Responsible for documenting all integration specifications; ensuring it meet template standards; Modify and test all customer documents.

    Audit

      3.

    Responsible for annual review including user security, solution relevance, all new and modified integrations are auditable and should follow change control procedures.

    User Support

      4.

    Provides excellent service to business units from all levels of the organization to bring about resolution for their requests and/or inquiries by using excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).

    Leadership

      5.

    Acts as a resource to the business units and as a liaison between the bank and third party vendors as needed. Provides guidance and assistance to other business intelligence analysts. Uses effective leadership skills and acts as a role model to other employees within the department.
