Robert Half Controller in Miami, Florida

Description We are in search of a Controller to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role will be integral to our operations, being responsible for managing and overseeing the full range of accounting functions within our company. The Controller will be utilizing their skills in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, DCAA, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning among others to ensure the financial health and compliance of our company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives

• Manage and oversee all accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Auditing

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient financial operations

• Ensure DCAA compliance and manage the budget processes

• Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions

• Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit

• Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants

• Work with senior teams to grow the business formulating strategies and plans

• Ensure corporate budgeting processes are carried out and reviewed

• Take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies. Requirements • Must possess a thorough understanding of Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required

• Experience with DCAA is necessary

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is essential

• Knowledge of ERP Solutions is required

• Ability to handle Accounting Functions effectively

• Must be able to manage Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary

• Auditing skills are required

• Involvement in Budget Processes is essential

• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
