Job Description:

As a Construction Assistant, you will support the project management team in ensuring that construction projects run smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the project manager with daily administrative tasks

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors

• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and reports

• Monitor and track project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets

• Conduct site visits to assist with inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations

• Communicate with team members to provide updates and gather necessary information

• Help with inventory management and ordering of construction materials

• Perform other duties as assigned to support project goals

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in construction or a related field is a plus

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology
