Robert Half Accounts Payable Coordinator in Miami, Florida

Description We are offering an opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the legal industry, based in Miami, Florida. The role involves facilitating the payment process for the organization, maintaining accurate records, and interacting with vendors to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process all invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval before payment

• Assign vendor numbers, match invoices, and code with general ledger account numbers

• Input invoices into the accounting system, maintaining accuracy and efficiency

• Ensure accuracy of vendor terms and collect W-9 forms before vendor setup

• Handle monthly expense reports processing

• Interact effectively with vendors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues

• Research and communicate the status of unpaid invoices and credits to management

• Undertake cost uploads

• Perform other duties as assigned by the management

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Check Runs, Coding Invoices, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, and Elite 3E software for efficient job performance. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role

• Proficient in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Demonstrable experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Elite 3E software

• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• High level of accuracy and efficiency

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred

• Knowledge of general accounting principles, regulatory standards, and compliance requirements.

• Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
