We are searching for a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in the Wholesale Distribution industry. This role is based in Brickell and offers an exciting opportunity for those seeking to build their career in finance and accounting. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks such as invoice processing, account reconciliation, and data entry, among others.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices and check runs for a high volume of accounts payable.

• Use SAP for various accounting functions.

• Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks.

• Code invoices correctly and efficiently.

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate actions for delinquent payments.

• Maintain precise records of all accounts payable transactions.

• Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of payments and invoices.

• Handle inquiries related to accounts payable from vendors and suppliers.

• Process customer credit applications and maintain accurate customer credit records.

Requirements • Must have proven experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role within the Wholesale Distribution industry

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP) is required

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices is essential

• Should have strong Data Entry skills with high attention to detail

• Familiarity with Invoice Processing procedures is necessary

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required for managing and analyzing data

• Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is necessary for managing financial transactions

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with suppliers and resolving any invoice discrepancies

• High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
