Tiger Soy, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a qualified Quality Supervisor at our soy processing facility in Mexico, MO.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, this position will be responsible for providing oversight, implementation, continuous monitoring and support of the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) systems of Tiger Soy.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and all company Food Safety Policies/Programs.
- Work closely with the Facility Manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure the company is in compliance with the requirements of GSFI/BRC, FSMA, and customer requirements.
- Provide necessary support for BRC, FDA and GFCO, customer, and regulatory audits.
- Oversight of documentation control and relevant programs.
- Ability to assess risk, hazards, likelihood, and severity. Develop programs and procedures that mitigate risk and ensure quality.
- Oversight of lab activities including finished product micro testing, environmental monitoring and testing which monitors product quality.
- Leading role with corrective action programs including oversight of RCAs.
- Expected to play a lead role in identifying opportunities for improvement directly related to operations.
- Track completion of action items triggered by internal nonconformance, customer complaints, audits, management reviews, etc.
- Implement a positive release program based on testing and monitoring of ingredient and product quality.
- Investigate and respond to customer complaints and inquiries.
- Assist with the management of supplier quality.
- To work closely with other departments within the company to provide guidance and/or support in developing policies and systems to support the BRC program. Will assist in ensuring that such policies continue to be relevant and are reviewed and audited.
- Actively participate in the companys internal audit program. Responsible for recordkeeping of the program and participating as an auditor.
- Assist with new hire/annual training of all employees at the site(s) for cGMP and Food Safety related topics.
- Prepares quality and food safety data for trend analysis and monitoring.
- May be assigned to other tasks and assignments consistent with responsibilities, by the Facility Manager.
Education Level:
A degree in a food science, microbiology or business is preferred. Relevant work experience will be considered.
Related Experience:
- 2+ years experience in quality assurance within a food production or milling environment
- Previous manufacturing experience is a plus
- Computer skills are required including Microsoft Office
