The Role: UAT Manager
The Team: The role will sit on the Data Operations Solutions team. This team translates user needs to requirements to enhance IT platforms in S&P DJI. This team functions as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the IT Agile Framework and oversees the coordination of all projects in technology platforms for index calculation, data, announcements, rebalancing, and committees. The team is involved in prioritization of release items, supplying the business requirements for those items, user acceptance testing for each release, and training for IMPG.
The Impact : Selected candidate will be part of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) team on our data platform called SPROUT. Candidate is supposed to understand S&P’s proprietary systems & data platforms to test enhancements thoroughly along with business users.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying Python/SQL/Power BI -based solutions.

Responsibilities:
Work with team members to perform UAT on the enhancements implemented in the SPROUT platform.
Execute, coordinate and assist to monitor the execution of all aspects of UAT testing according to the agreed test plan.
To identify defects, research and decipher scope of issue determine severity of issue.
Elevate defects and issues to test leads for concurrence.
Raising defects during execution and logging the same into QC.
Provide post-production support for the users.
Assist in training users on the enhancement implemented.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
Excellent communication with stakeholders with different backgrounds and demands in English.
- 8 years of related experience.
Hands-on experience with collaborating with the development team and QA team
Good knowledge of Agile framework
Strong experience with user acceptance testing, including writing test cases
Experience with system user training, including writing Quick Reference Guide
Basic Understanding of equity and fixed income markets.
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced degree in computer science, math, economics, or finance strongly preferred.
Superior computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access
Working knowledge of R, Python, SQL among other programming languages is preferred
Working knowledge of Power BI is preferred
Must be able to work independently on multiple projects with minimal direction or supervision.
Must be able to demonstrate excellent analytical and quantitative capabilities to solve original, non-routine problems in a timely and insightful manner
Ability to assume responsibility, work with others and manage projects
Ability to learn new data and calculation platforms in a limited time
