The International Consumer (IC) Organization is looking for a Human Resources professional. Joining the IC team means that you will be partnering with people in other countries, benchmarking best-practices, driving country-wide initiatives, and working closely with your client groups to design and execute strategies to support the Consumer and the Corporate teams in Mexico.

The HRBP role exists to power the trajectory of the business by ensuring Amazon has the right talent mix, senior leadership, and capabilities, to innovate and deliver exceptional customer experiences. HRBPs serve as the leaders of people and organizational strategy, accelerating business outcomes through the diagnosis, development, and execution of integrated solutions. HRBPs start with the business first and speak the language of the business.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build trusted relationships with senior leaders, enabling them to effectively coach, act as change agents and influence critical decisions around talent and org design to drive business results. You will collaborate extensively with other PXT (People, Experience and Technology) teams, including: HR Partners, Employee Relations, IXT, Legal, Talent Management, etc. to build and deliver an integrated people plan. The core pillars of the HRBP role are Org Effectiveness, Culture, Senior Leader Effectiveness, Change Agent, and Talent Planning.

To achieve this, HRBPS understand business priorities and translate them into the highest impact work. This requires a flexible skill set, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations..

Key job responsibilities

• Partner with the business to develop a comprehensive understanding of the businesses key goals, through relationship building with members of the site management team; ensuring that the HR function is clearly aligned to the key success factors for the client group

• Partner with COEs to develop holistic HR solutions for the business

• Coach people managers within the organization

• Partner with the labor legal counsel to ensure policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance

• Draw insights from data to improve processes, employee engagement and policy alignment across the businesses

• Demonstrate the ability to innovate and solve problems through effective project management

• Among others related to PXT (HR) Strategy and People Experience.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required

• Experience in an HR Leadership role with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management

• Demonstrated experience supporting employee populations in large organizations

• Experience engaging, communicating and presenting to Senior Leaders

• Fluent in both Spanish and English spoken and written. Portuguese is desired.

• Knowledge of local employment laws

• True hands-on approach as well as demonstrated ability to think and deliver strategic value

• Demonstrated written communication skills and ability to influence change in written form

• Strong coaching and leadership development skills

• Experience in an international environment

• Possesses intellectual curiosity; brings insight into the team/business, especially in a multicultural environment

• Proven presentation and communication skills

• Experience in executive coaching and assessing executive talent
