Responsibilities

The House Supervisor provides leadership to members of the hospital staff. Acts as liaison between employees patients and their families. First Call is responsible for receiving direct admissions financial screening and throughput of patients throughout the hospital.

  • Oversees smooth flow of clinic operations, acts as a resource to staff for operational needs, and handles day-to-day patient satisfaction concerns

  • Ensure your direct reports and department are positioned to deliver the best care possible to our patients

  • Recruits, hires, trains, disciplines and supervises staff, including performance evaluations, and competency assessments

  • Assist with budget development, management and issues cost effective operations

  • Monitor productivity and efficiency of your department

  • Mentor people on your team. Share your knowledge and confidence the patient care team

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Three (3) years experience in a nursing leadership role or charge nurse position in which supervisory and communication abilities have been demonstrated.

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

  • Must hold and maintain AZ or compact state RN license (RN), American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (CT ACLS), American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (CT CPRBLS)

  • Good communication skills, excellent negotiation and conflict management skills, ability to organize, act, and make decisions in a timely manner. Ability to work with people of all ages.

  • Knowledge of hospital administrative and nursing regulations and how to apply to nursing practice.

Pay Range

$54.61 - $54.61 /hour
