Responsibilities

Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner Needed at our Javelina Court House location in Mesa, AZ

20 hours/week

Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 9am-3pm

Location: Near US-60/ Mesa Drive

(Preferred Candidate = At Least 1 Year of FNP Experience Preferred)

Candidates Must Be AZ Licensed with a valid DEA

Excellent Salary (20 hrs/week: MSN/FNP: $57,500-$61,500; DNP: $65,000-$67,500

Additional Language Differential Pay Available: Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili or ASL

$3/hour (Approximately $6240 Annually)

Direct Services Include:

  • Physical Exams

  • Immunizations

  • Same Day Appointments

  • Well Exams

  • Lab Services

  • HIV/STI Testing

  • Chronic Symptom Management

  • Health, Nutrition, and Weight-loss Coaching

    PCP provides direct primary health care to assigned patients

    PCP Performs independently or as a part of a treatment team

    PCP conducts physicals/check-ups, evaluations, diagnostics, treats illnesses, orders lab tests, general and preventative care, medication prescribing and monitoring, and individual treatment and case consultation

    PCP will maintain appropriate knowledge, skill and certification for this position

    PCP provides direct patient services not less than 85% of the work time

    PCP employs therapeutic interventions appropriate for identified treatment issues

    PCP seeks appropriate clinical supervision/support, when necessary, to ensure the provision of effective treatment

    PCP establishes appropriate patient files that conform to agency guidelines, best professional practice and State licensing regulations

    PCP completes all patient documentation within established guidelines

    PCP educates patients about preventative care, wellness activities and prescribed treatments

    PCP provides leadership and cohesion within the clinic environment and may provide direct supervision to other professional and/or non- professional medical staff, and students

    PCP participates in program evaluation procedures and professional record keeping, makes referrals appropriately for specialty and behavioral health care.

    *Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. (Additional Language Differential Pay Available)

Qualifications

  • APRN AZ License

  • MSN or DNP in Family Medicine

  • Possess a valid First Aid/CPR

  • Able to pass a background check and possess a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card

  • Possess a valid DEA license
