Rural Electric Electrical Apprentice (3rd or 4th Year) in Mesa, Arizona
Rural Electric is currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Electrical Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice with a passion for learning and expanding their knowledge in the field of industrial electrical work. This is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice to gain hands-on experience and grow their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
Assist journeyman electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment
Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and diagnosing problems
Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision, such as wiring, conduit installation, and equipment assembly
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Requirements:
Currently enrolled in a recognized electrical apprenticeship program
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrical apprentice, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting
Eager to learn and expand knowledge in the field of industrial electrical work
Basic understanding of electrical concepts and principles
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
Completed coursework in electrical theory and practical applications
Experience working with hand and power tools
Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
