This Position is for a Financial Analyst II FP&A - United States (Remote).

Duties and Responsibilities: Supports the Financial Planning and Analysis function including budgets, forecasting, reporting, analytics, and automation. Provide input on strategic decision-making based on experience and knowledge of the business. Use the information to assemble extensive financial databases. Automate financial reporting activities. Compile financial reports using calculations, data, and other information. Assist in the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance of programs, indirect departments, and service centers compared to established goals and objectives. Work closely with team members to consolidate budget and forecast financial performance. Train and support new team members to understand the overall structure of the organization. Identify and research key variances. Work with and secure highly sensitive and confidential financial data and information. Continuously update skill set, expertise, and technical knowledge by attending the required workshops.

Qualifications: One year of related experience may be substituted for one year of education if a degree is required. Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained. 2-4 years of experience in Finance or Accounting or related work experience. Knowledge of the use of financial software systems is a plus. Knowledge of GAAP, Cost Accounting Standards, and Federal Acquisition Regulations is desirable.

Skills & Technology Used: A high level of knowledge in the use of a PC is required. Advanced experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and other automated accounting systems usage is required. Understanding of strategic planning and forecasting. Understanding of database maintenance and design. Understand database structures and data mining. Knowledge of statistical analysis. Ability to perform research and compile reports. Ability to plan and track budgets. Advanced computational skills. Experience forecasting and analyzing data. Experience in finance and accounting. Attention to detail and accuracy. Personal computer, printer, copy machine, and other general office equipment. Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
