Description

Collect, collate and analyze maintenance data in support of Quality Assurance Management Programs, trend analysis requirements and the Management Information System. Provide analytical reports of aircraft material condition, utilization, maintenance workload, manpower utilization, failure trends and other reports as required. May be required to handle hazardous materials in performance of assigned duties.

Must have working knowledge of

Must have an in-depth operational knowledge of the Naval Aviation MDCS reporting procedure and applicable reports.

Must be able to develop data for the 3M Summary.

Must be able to collect data and generate clear, concise specialty reports as requested.

Must be able to compute statistics, analyze, separate data and generate reports from available data.

Must have mathematical computation ability.

Must be skilled in typing to the level of 30 words per minute.

Must have and display operational knowledge of computers, computer peripherals, applicable software and other office equipment, including communication devices.

Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.

Must be customer oriented.

Essential Duties and Accountabilities:

Provide management with analytical reports on aircraft material condition and utilization, maintenance workload, manpower utilization, failure trends, and other reports.

Collect, screen, forward all Maintenance Data System.

Conduct MDS training for maintenance personnel.

Coordinate with Data Service Facility in resolving MDS problem areas when required.

Provide charts, graphs, and displays for presentations and the monthly maintenance plan, as required.

Assist management in determining specific requirements for new types of data reports necessary to support the maintenance effort.

Ensure all systems of the MDS are documented as outlines in, .

Provide typing for data analysis administrative requirements.

Maintain cleanliness of the your work area and assist in maintaining cleanliness of work center.

Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.

Maintain control and inventory of all equipment normally used in the work associated with this classification.

Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities and job assignment.

Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.

Required to perform computer input functions.

Responsible for adhering to the Company Tool Control Program.

Assist when directed to ensure safety, security and preservation of Government owned and Company owned equipment.

Makes corrections on documentation or insures corrections of data.

Perform other reasonably related incidental duties when directed within the job classification.

Qualification Standards:

Must have a minimum of four (4) years documented hands on general and two (2) years specialized experience in collecting, servicing, and providing analytical reports or data on aircraft/ component material condition, utilization and workload trends, etc. Must have minimum of two (2) years experience working with OOMA/IMA, 4790.2 MDS reporting procedures and numerous analytical reports.

Must be able to qualify to operate/maintain the company network system within 180 days of hire.

Physical Demands:

This classification activity is usually accomplished in an office like environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with office activities. May occasionally be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 30 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.

Work Environment:

The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment which is typical of an office setting. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards.

· Formal or Specialized Training or Equivalent

· Hazardous Communication Training

· FOD and TCP Awareness Trained

· Security Clearance Awareness Training

· OPNAV INST 4790.2 Program Awareness Training

· ISO 9001-2000 Program Awareness Training

· Operational Risk Management (ORM) Training

· Valid States Drivers License
