Job Title: Skidder Operator

Schedule: Monday - Saturday (7am - 5:30pm)

Pay Rate: $24 - $30 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled skidder operator to join a rapidly expanding company that primarily works on community generation projects in South Central PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, staging material, and assisting with labor tasks on the worksite.

• The position requires the ability to operate without training and a readiness to assist in various tasks, not limited to operating duties only.

• The role involves distribution, layout, assembly, and installation of various solar array components, operation of skid steer, equipment inspection and preventive maintenance, as well as support in commissioning and troubleshooting of mechanical systems throughout the plant.

• The candidate will also be responsible for assessing work locations for tasks and preparing Job Hazard Analysis for crew safety.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating a skid steer/ All Terrain Forklift on commercial solar sites

• Experience work in the North East or in Winter/Cold Weather Conditions

• Knowledge of basic equipment inspection and preventive maintenance

• Solar construction experience is a plus

• Bobcat operation
