ENTRUST MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGIES Industrial Painter in MENOMONEE FALLS, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Put your industrial painting expertise to work in our new, top-of-the-line 16\' x 30\' semi-downdraft pressurized industrial paint booth! The booth is equipped with a crane slot to easily move large parts into the booth and has a cure mode to allow faster part throughput as well as a two-component electronic paint proportioning system that allows very quick changeover and easy cleanup when switching between our commonly sprayed colors and primer. Part preparation and wet spray of precision machined components, castings, weldments, and fabricated components make this position a critical member of the team as we manufacture Unisig\'s world-class machines! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Reads and understands shop prints, travelers, and other documents to ensure compliance with requirements of parts. Understands paint mixing procedures, paint specifications, and proper application of material to parts. Masks, plugs, deburr, and cleans parts in preparation for paint application and remove after completion of application. Hangs parts utilizing proper gauge hooks and reasonable methods on racks/trolleys, ensuring appropriate loads for equipment. Applies paint using air type, airless, and conventional paint equipment in spray booth operation. Maintains company equipment, including booth and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly manner and according to equipment PM schedule. Continually demonstrates productivity and attention to quality/detail. Utilizes material handling equipment required for position (forklift, crane, etc.) POSITION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or equivalent. 3 years of experience in an industrial painting environment Self-directed, organized, productive, strong attention to detail, and pride in workmanship crucial for success. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Frequently lift 25 pounds unassisted. Occasionally lifts 50 pounds unassisted. Exposure to solvents, cleaners, paints, and other chemicals of both hazardous and non-hazardous properties. Proper personal protective equipment required. Regularly stands and moves throughout the paint area for up to 8 hours. Frequently bends, stoops, kneels, reaches and stretches. Regularly uses depth perception, peripheral vision, close focus, and color discernment.
