Position Overview
SLAC Human Resources is seeking a Human Resources Administrator to assist with the Records & Transaction project to digitalize the lab¿s personnel records.
Note: This is a 1-year fixed term position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a regular- continuing position. Assignment duration is contingent upon project needs and funding.
Your specific responsibilities include:
Records Administration
Organize and maintain personnel records and prepare them for digital scanning.
Scan physical documents to produce digital copies for retention of the employee personnel records.
Verify completeness and accuracy of documents to ensure they meet regulatory and company guidelines.
Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy retrieval and reference.
Compile and maintain confidential employee files.
Performing scanning of documents, quality control of files using document scanning equipment
To be successful in this position you will bring:
Associate degree and two years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strategic and critical thinking skills are a must.
Ability to work independently and without close supervision.
Ability to learn and apply general human resources policies using problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and effectively handle highly sensitive and personal information with sound judgment, tact, and discretion.
Ability to consistently follow through with projects and assignments and meet deadlines.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong and effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with human resource management systems, such as PeopleSoft and time/leave systems. Experience using email and internet.

The expected pay range for this position is $36.32 - $39.37 per hour. SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory/Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
