Senior Healthcare Program Specialist – NYSOH Architecture Team in Albany, NY – 2 Openings

· Senior Healthcare Program Specialist to support the NYSOH Architecture team’s work related to Operations and Change Request software development.

· The NYSOH System is a key component of New York’s Medicaid Enterprise system portfolio, and provides critical support for eligibility, enrollment and coverage data policy and operations for Medicaid, Child Health Plus (CHP), the Essential Plan (EP), and Qualified Health Plans (QHPs), as well as tax credits for QHPs.

· Position will support Architecture team’s role related to all aspects of NYSOH Operations, e.g., system processing monitoring, incident response and management, etc. and software development lifecycle (SDLC) work, e.g., change requests, requirements documents, defects, requests for analysis, etc.

· Position will engage all areas of the NYSOH Program including DOS Resources, DOH Policy SME’s and Stakeholders, GDIT Vendor, and related groups.

· Position will provide project management, vendor task tracking, status reporting, business analysis, process documentation and related support to the DOS team.

Basic Requirements and/or certifications desired for position:

• 9 years of experience in healthcare

• An associate degree in a related field can count for 2 years of experience, a bachelor’s can count for 4 years of experience, and a Master’s can count for 5 years of experience.

Desired Qualifications:

· 4 years of experience with the Affordable Care Act or Medicaid which includes Eligibility and Enrollment

· 4 years of experience managing multiple complex IT projects with interactions at all organizational levels

· 4 years of experience managing complex business and/or operational processes including developing business and or operational documentation

· Must have strong written and oral communication skills

· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required

Compensation for roles at Staffing Solutions Organization LLC (SSO) varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, SSO provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, SSO provides a range of benefits for this role.
