Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced painter for a 1st shift position. You will be responsible for using a paint sprayer to prime and paint dock door metal pieces. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Responsibilities
Use a paint sprayer to prime and paint dock door metal pieces.
Follow a detailed painting process: paint bottom with primer, top, then side, let set, paint other side with primer, then paint bottom top side, let set, paint other side.
Ensure all painting is done to high standards with close attention to detail.
Essential Skills
1 year of paint spraying experience in a manufacturing setting.
Experience with industrial painting, paint prep, and using spray guns.
Ability to hit the ground running and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in auto spray painting (preferred but not required).
Knowledge of direct to metal paint, blast booth prep, and pressurized paint pots.
Understanding of the mill thickness of paint.

Work Environment
You will work in a warehouse environment that includes large fans for ventilation. While it can be hot during summer, heaters are available for winter. Steel toe shoes are required, and other protective equipment such as masks, gloves, and aprons will be provided.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
