Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in Memphis, Tennessee for a Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This role is pivotal in overseeing HR operations, managing employee relations, driving recruitment strategies, and negotiating benefits and union agreements.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee HR operations, implementing and refining processes as necessary
• Manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent treatment of all employees
• Drive recruitment strategies, including onboarding and integration of new hires
• Negotiate employee benefits packages, balancing cost-effectiveness and quality
• Represent the organization in union negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations
• Utilize HR systems for payroll and benefits management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment, promoting open communication and transparency
• Ensure accurate and timely HR reporting to management, providing insights into HR metrics and trends
• Leverage skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, HCM, and Benefit Functions
• Uphold compliance standards and best practices in all HR activities
• Manage a small HR team, providing guidance and support as they handle payroll and recruiting tasks. Requirements
• Capability to handle HCM (Human Capital Management) systems
• Proficiency in managing Benefit Functions
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proven ability to ensure Compliance with HR regulations
• Experience in managing Employee Relations
• Familiarity with Hiring Processes and best practices
• Experience in handling Union Contracts
