Job Description

A Fortune 250 client/employer in Memphis, TN is looking for a data engineer. This group falls under the Data business unit. Over the next fiscal year this company is going through a massive cloud transformation. They are going from on prem to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This team handles analytical and reporting data to the cloud for enterprise-wide consumption for this $16B entity.

-Partnered cross functional departmentally to support scientists, data users/analysts, and fuel business analytics while crafting the strategic vision and data management initiatives, and spearheading launch of the Google Cloud Platform-based lake.

The lake is already present do this engineer/architect will be entering the data, making it active, populate the lake and then push it out to the rest of the organization.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience as a data engineer

GCP Cloud experience

Expert level in Biq Query

Data Flow, Pub/Sub, Python, Experience

Understanding security at a high level - IAM Containerization/DevOps

Retail Background null
