Pay Rate: The pay rate for this job is $26 - $27 / hour

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Asphalt Paver/Roller Spraying asphalt, raking and shoveling, material handling, site cleanup

  • Must be able to operate a Walk-Behind Concrete Saw Perform setup and cleanup tasks at the job site.

  • Spread out Asphalt.

  • Perform asphalt paving rolling in accordance with DOT, local and commercial specifications.

  • Ability to perform pre-use inspections on equipment.

  • Direct traffic when necessary to ensure safety of pedestrians, motorists, and work crew.

  • Operate roller using specific patterns and forms consistent with top quality paving standards

  • Conduct work with proper safety equipment.

  • Haul away Asphalt.

  • Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs. and navigate job site terrain.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Some roadworks experience preferred.

  • Asphalt paving experience required; minimum 2-3 years in Construction

  • Strong analytical ability, quantitative and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication/interpersonal skills
