We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The role requires strict adherence to safety guidelines and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, a great work ethic, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

salary: $19 - $24 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the warehouse. Load and unload trucks, move materials to and from storage areas, and position materials in designated areas.

• Inventory Management: Keep accurate records of inventory moves, ensuring proper documentation of materials entering and leaving the warehouse. Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.

• Order Fulfillment: Retrieve products according to pick lists or order specifications and transport them to packing or shipping areas. Ensure accuracy and quality of items being moved.

• Material Handling: Properly handle and store materials to prevent damage. Organize warehouse spaces for efficient use and easy access to items.

• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE). Report any safety hazards, equipment issues, or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and maintenance on forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs promptly.
