FlexStaff Clinical Coordinator - Ambulatory Surgery Center in Melville, New York

FlexStaff is seeking a Clinical Coordinator for our client, a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Melville. This role is Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays. This is a management position and hours may vary based on the needs of the center.
Responsibilities:
Supervising and directing nursing care in all clinical areas of the facility; Pre-Op, OR and PACU
Coordination of care provided in these units on a daily basis, collaborating closely with the Administrator.
Ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies, applicable laws and standards.
Representing the healthcare delivery team to ensure patient safety, quality care and safe, efficient clinical operations by supporting effective patient care delivery systems.
Responsible for the infection control duties of the center, including developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures, conducting surveillance activities, and educating staff and patients on infection control practices
Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional manner
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing
BLS, ACLS, PALS Certification
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with progressive leadership in an acute care hospital or ambulatory surgery center
Knowledge of operating room standards and multi-specialty experience.
The salary range for this position is $150,000-$150,000/year
