Power Plant Services Inside Sales Representative in Melrose Park, Illinois

Position Mission:

Generate new business within our Parts Division through direct interface with existing and prospective customers within a defined territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate outreach to current and prospective customers through multiple media tactics to determine product needs and to follow up on company-generated estimates.

  • Collaborate with internal departments to include Cost Estimation and Production functions.

  • Communicate with customers on a variety of topics including production timing, quality and order integrity.

  • Comply with departmental standard operating procedures to include customer data management.

  • Provide back up support for teammates’ assigned territories during vacations and absences.

  • Participate in meetings to discuss customer activities and provide input in brainstorming sessions to resolve open issues or maximize account potential.

  • Fulfill sales activity targets to support individual and team revenue targets.

    Position Requirements:

  • Direct experience in a business-to-business inside or outside sales role with demonstrated success in meeting sales targets.

  • A Bachelors Degree in Marketing or Sales is preferred.

  • Intermediate level competency in utilization of sales software and the Microsoft product suite.

  • Ability to work a full business day on site five days per week.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
