Turba OperatorJob Summary:Monitor overall cheese making process to maintain high quality and productivity standards. Proficient in all phases (process and CIP of equipment), including, but not limited to the job duties listed below.Maintain a safe work environment and meet all established quality standards.Shift: 4:45pm - 5:15ampay Rate: $25.86Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Initiate startup, shutdown, CIP and operation of Turbo FilmPerform readings, maintain logs & perform solids testing of Turbo Film operation & CIPMonitor and break fermentersSanitation of fermenters and fermenter room.Assist in completion of Master Sanitation Schedule items & other cleaning as needed.Perform equipment / building maintenance as required.Provide break relief for other associates as needed (i.e. UF, Pan, AM Barrels)Ensure good communication between shifts.Complete Catalyst transactions as necessary.Fully participate in and support the following programs: Safety, LQMS, BRC, LPS and LMS.Follow all sanitation and quality SOP's to ensure all equipment is clean and ready for production.LEAN Manufacturing - Contribute to a continuous improvement environment by participating in activities to include line side problem solving.Participate in 5S program to contribute to a safe and organized work environment.Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all department paperworkFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP guidelines and LQMS requirementsActively contribute to a behavioral based safety culture by completing a minimum of one behavioral observation (BOS) per month.Demonstrate working knowledge of machine operations and overall production processSupport Barrel Closer with staging supplies & forklift transfer and stacking of barrels in cooler.Other duties as assigned by Shift Lead or Production ManagerExperience:2 years of manufacturing experience preferredPrior high speed, high tech manufacturing experienceRequirements:Ability to contribute in a team work environmentAbility to perform basic math equationsAbility to utilize computers & software programs proficientlyAbility to communicate effectively to ensure product flow to next work stationAbility to perform problem solving skills, apply creative thinking, use resources, and make effective decisionsAbility to effectively plan and organizeAbility to contribute to a safe and organized work environmentAbility to work variable shifts, weekends, and/or holidaysAbility to meet the physical demands of the position outlined in the Physical Demands Analysis (PDA)Ability to learn new skills and adapt to change as the organization continues to improve processesAbility to draw conclusions based on analysis of data from multiple sourcesMaintain prompt and regular job attendanceAbility to read and write effectively in EnglishAbout Land O'Lakes, Inc.Join us and be part of a Fortune 250, farmer- and member-owned cooperative that is reimagining the business of food.
