We are offering a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Melissa, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and processing all accounts payable, vendor account reconciliations, vendor maintenance, processing of invoices, check runs, maintaining accurate records, expense reports and more.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full cycle of Accounts Payable, ensuring all transactions are accurately and promptly processed

• Utilize your expertise in Accounting Software Systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline accounting functions

• Take charge of Account Coding to maintain precise and up-to-date records

• Provide exceptional customer service, always prioritizing a customer-first approach

• Collaborate with the team to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

• Handle Reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are balanced and discrepancies are resolved

• Manage multiple vendors, ensuring all accounts are up-to-date and all transactions are processed accurately

• Regularly reconcile vendor statements to maintain accurate records and ensure all transactions are accounted for.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Accounts Payable experience

• Familiarity with various ERP Accounting systems required (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)

• Demonstrable experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP).

• Ability to perform Reconciliations effectively and accurately.

• Experience in dealing with Multiple Vendors is necessary.

• Ability to Reconcile Vendor Statements accurately and promptly.
