Corporate Program Management Excellence Tools and Tools Training Business Analyst
The Program Management Excellence organization is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tools Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of business tools and systems that enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional and cross-segment teams to gather and analyze business data and metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Additionally, you will be supporting the development and coordination of training and implementation for new tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and experience in evaluating quantitative and qualitative data. Experience or training in Agile, UX ideation, Lean UX, and Design Thinking methodologies is a plus. Essential Functions:
Metrics and Data Analysis:
Support the compiling and assessment of program performance data and metrics from segments to monitor program health and performance
Ensure the validity and accuracy of information reported by segments to the corporate dashboards
Identify trends and gaps in data
Develop charts, graphs, and visuals that effectively convey the performance, trends, and forecasts pertaining to program performance
Present and describe program performance information to stakeholders
Tool and System Standardization:
Provide support to the CHQ Tools and System Standardization leader in the development of new tools
Participate in requirements gathering and assist in organization and compilation of requirements
Support User Acceptance Test and assist in compiling results
Support the deployment of new and updated tools
Training:
Provide support in the development of training for new tools and updated tools and processes
Status and Communication:
Provide support for creation of performance charts and presentations for recurring reviews
Communicate program performance, issues identified in data analysis, and corrective actions to stakeholders and execution team members
Miscellaneous:
Provide support to the Enterprise PMX in the development and implementation of standard processes and tools for Program management
Provide support for Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects
Ability to work across segments and functions and take initiative to reach out and connect to gather and provide information
Adhere to the company ethics program by completing required training and Code Acknowledgement, reporting issues, and behaving in an ethical and professional manner.
Interpret company policies/guidelines and adhere to safety regulations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Operations or a related field.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Earned Value Management training and experience
Knowledge of program management principals, methodologies, tools and techniques
Knowledge of Aerospace industry practices and program phases
Self-motivated, accepts authority and responsibility
Strong Organizational Abilities- disciplined, sets priorities, meets deadlines, handles multiple tasks and responsibilities
Operates well in an environment of ambiguity and able to effectively work with minimal direction
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written)
